Your Hosts
Sherwood Estate Wines is owned and operated by the family team of husband and wife Bruce and Marina Compton.
Along with brother David Rountree, their shared passion for fine wine, fine food and a love of music, led them to purchase Sherwood Estate Wines from John and Helen Ross on 1st September, 2005.
Bruce and Marina live at the vineyard and share the commitment of running the vineyard and the operation of both the Cellar Door and Fine Blends Restaurant.
Having built on the infrastructure which was put in place by the previous owners, Sherwood Estate has developed into a totally boutique vineyard.
The addition of the Fine Blends Restaurant has added to the value of the vineyard, which is now a tourist destination. Sherwood Estate Wines combines the experiences of fine food and great local wines in a relaxed country setting.

Our vineyard staff provide horticultural and viticultural expertise and are creative in their objective of producing only the best quality grapes.
